I am very glad to invite you to attend the 100-year Anniversary Evening Party of Henan University on 15th Oct, 2011 in the hall of the university.

As a big event for our university, many alumnuses from all over the country, famous scientists and the Education Department of Henan will attend the 100-year Anniversary Evening Party. The ceremony will begin at 7:00pm on 15th Oct, 2011. During the evening party, there will be the achievement exhibition, development plan, working report of Henan University as well as many wonderful performances played by the alumnuses. It will be an excited party for our university.

I really hope you can attend the big event that day and we can get together after graduation. Should you have any question, please contact me without hesitation.

2. You are required to write a report to your boss about the project you are doing now with no

less than 80 words.

Dear Mr. Li,

After half year’s work, I would like to give you a brief report about the project I am doing.

Generally speaking, the project is kept in the right way and is developed very smoothly. Two third of the work has been finished as scheduled and it has gone through the quality test. For the left work, we plan to finish it in the future two months.

We also meet some problems during the construction. As the rain season will come, I hope you can send ten more workers to the project so that we can finish this project before rain season. What is more, sometimes materials can not be carried here at time, which slowed the process.

If you have some good suggestions for the project, please advise us. I also hope you can come here to have field visit.
